This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of ContextCloud, operated by Oshyn Inc (“Oshyn”), when incorporated into the applicable Customer Terms of Service, End-User Terms, Guest Terms, or separately signed agreement. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Customer Terms. The AUP applies to Customer and its Authorized Users, including Members and Guests within their permitted access. It covers content and instructions supplied to the Service as well as activities performed through agents, tools, credentials, and connected systems.
The agreement governing the relevant use determines acceptance, precedence, and allocation of responsibility. This AUP does not replace a separately signed agreement, expand an individual's authority to bind Customer, or establish acceptance merely because someone receives a shared link.
1. Prohibited use
Customer and Authorized Users must not use the Service to:
- violate applicable law or assist another person in doing so;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or contractual rights, or process personal data without the required lawful basis;
- access, probe, or disrupt systems, accounts, networks, or data without authorization, including through an agent, or evade a rate limit, CAPTCHA, or access control;
- send unsolicited bulk messages or misrepresent the sender of a message;
- store or distribute malware or unlawful material, material that sexualizes minors, or material that incites violence against people;
- harass, threaten, or defraud people, or deceptively impersonate a person or organization;
- scrape the Service;
- supply credentials or data without the authority required for their intended use, or bypass the Service's credential-access or sharing controls; authorized encrypted backups and exports described in the Customer Terms are not prohibited by this restriction;
- circumvent tenant separation, guardrails, approval requirements, or usage limits, or interfere with another customer's use of the Service.
2. Automated actions and connected accounts
An outside system may attribute an action performed with a credential or connection to the holder of that account. Customer and Authorized Users must have authority for the connections, instructions, disclosures, and external actions they request, and must comply with the outside provider's applicable terms. They must select permissions and use the available review, approval, scope, and expiry settings appropriate to their intended activity.
An instruction or requested budget expressed in a prompt is not, by itself, an independently enforced limit. Available controls have the scope described for the applicable feature; a limit on AI usage does not by itself limit purchases or charges in an outside account. Users must not assume that every external action requires a separate confirmation or can be reversed by stopping a Run.
These responsibilities do not make every unexpected agent action an authorized act or release Oshyn from its express obligations. For Customer and Oshyn, the Customer Terms, including their provisions on automated actions, warranties, and liability, govern their respective risks and remedies. An individual's obligations and remedies are governed by the agreement applicable to that individual and mandatory law. This AUP does not create a separate indemnity or an exception to an applicable limitation of liability.
3. Sensitive data
The Service is not designed to hold payment card data, government identifiers, or health records under a regulatory regime requiring specific controls. Customer and Authorized Users must not submit such data unless a separately signed agreement with Oshyn expressly authorizes the relevant data and use. A subscription, model selection, or connection to an outside service does not itself establish that authorization or the required regulatory arrangements.
4. Restrictions and enforcement
Subject to the Customer Terms and any controlling signed agreement, Oshyn may remove affected content, stop a Run, disable a credential or connection, restrict a user's access, or suspend an Organization where reasonably necessary to address a material violation, a threat to the Service or another person, or a legal requirement. Oshyn will ordinarily notify Customer's administrators and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Where delay would create a material risk or violate law, Oshyn may act immediately and provide notice as soon as reasonably possible, unless prohibited.
Oshyn will limit restrictions to what is reasonably necessary and restore affected access when the basis for the restriction is resolved. Express review, export, and data-handling rights remain subject to the security and legal qualifications in the Customer Terms. This section does not replace the payment-grace and billing-suspension provisions. Oshyn will report unlawful material to authorities when required by law.
5. Reporting and changes
Report suspected abuse to privacy@contextcloud.works. Report security vulnerabilities through the channel identified in security.txt. Changes to this AUP are subject to the notice, acceptance, and signed-agreement protections in the agreement governing the relevant use.
